Challenge

To support an account-based marketing campaign, Vail Valley Asset Management needed a website that embodied a polished look and feel while delivering highly focused content to their target audience of lower-middle-market business owners with annual revenues ranging from $5 million to $100 million. Additionally, the website required a blog platform that would allow for easy post-launch updates with new article and video content.

Solution

We approached the project with a methodical planning phase to define the Vail Valley Asset Management founder brand. This included defining the brand’s personality, tone, and pillars, and creating a buyer persona based on real-life LinkedIn profiles and AI personality reading software. We conducted a conversational explainer exercise with leadership stakeholders to gain a laser focus on the brand’s purpose and value proposition, resulting in the creation of key messaging.

This planning phase informed the website’s design, copy, and other aspects to ensure that they were all aligned with the brand’s identity and target audience. The resulting website achieved the desired polished look and feel while providing the highly focused content that resonated with the target audience. The blog platform provided an easy-to-use system for post-launch updates, allowing for the creation and sharing of valuable article and video content.
